Examples of Business Christmas Cards
Trees & Flowers
Christmas Trees are always a popular choice for a Christmas Card. There is a wide choice of colour variations and styles to choose from. Contemporary, artistic to modern and eveything in-between. Why not add a little sparkle in the form of glitter and you will have a very eye-catching company Christmas card. The freshly cut Christmas tree atop a campervan is one of my fun favourites.
Different tree designs include A partridge in a pear tree and a tree full to bursting with robins. Miniature Christmas trees in pots are a great design too. Flower choices include a Christmas rose and snowdrops.
It was really hard to choose just one image to showcase here!
Wreaths, Garlands, Presents & Decorations
It was very hard to choose just one of the many decorations and wreaths. They are so colourful and a perfect image for Christmas. Heart shaped wreaths are a traditional decoration for many a front door. The artwork for these designs is very detailed. Whilst some are strong contrasts others are just really pretty.
Imagine some foiling or glitter on them to really make them sparkle for your clients this Christmas.
Baubles galore when you check out the online brochure, hanging, decorated and plenty of sparkle!
Not all the wreaths are hearts and glitter is an optional extra!
Deer & Reindeer
Deer and reindeer in particular are such a classic symbol of Christmas for so many people. I have to say that being carried along in a Reindeer pulled sleigh in Finland was one of the many highlights of my 9 months studying there – so much snow!
I love the cartoon and whimsical depictions of the deer and reindeer in this category. A great choice for your corporate Christmas card design this year.
Consequently I do believe you will have a hard time choosing a favourite. In many of the Phoenix Trading Christmas card designs you will find reindeer. Often times the reindeer are with Santa and his sleigh and flying over the rooftops!
Robins & other birds
Robins and other birds? You may be wondering what other bird designs there are to choose from so I chose the cute little Blue Tits to show you here.
There are robins on a bird house, robins on branches as well as robins skiing! Robins on wellington boots. Winter gardening scene are a popular theme with a few variations to choose from. The ten robins doing a pyramid formation on a motorbike are fabulous! You should definitely check out Helen Smith’s Dictionary of Robins, a great play on words as always.
As for other birds there are cute little penguins, three french hens and partridges in pear trees, owls, geese and doves. The dove cards are peace themed and the white dove on a Christmas red background is a stunning, bold design.
I love our animal range of Christmas cards with everything from the cutest little nativity scenes to penguins and koalas on deckchairs! If you look closely you will even find some fairy mice decorating an enormous cupcake that looks like a Christmas tree.
Little Donkey pictured with his cute robin friend is my favourite new design for 2016. It is the one I will be sending to all my family and friends this year.
Christmas cats and dogs feature in designs along with the odd polar bear mixed in. More cute woodland creatures means more than enough choices for you.
Doors, Houses, Churches & Palaces
Grand country houses or snowed in cottages – you choose. Gingerbread houses, post offices and Buckingham Palace of course! One tradition at Christmas time is to hang a wreath on the front door and there are a few door designs to choose from. Shortlist for your Corporate Christmas Card list?
Snow and decorations feature on many of these designs including Santa and his reindeer flying over the rooftops. There are three designs showcasing London Town. Christmas for many means carols in church and shopping for Christmas presents. So, you will also see Christmas card designs featuring churches and rows of quaint shops in little country villages.
Food & Drink
What is more symbolic of Christmas dessert than a pudding? Well, maybe check out the mulled wine and minced pies Christmas card design. Tables laden with Christmas treats and even more Christmas pudding are features of more designs.
What is your favourite food or drink to indulge in over the holiday period?
Personally I was never a fan of the marzipan layer in traditional Christmas cake. You can see the yellow layer of marzipan on the Christmas cake slice design!
What about a lovely hot chocolate in a bright red snowman mug topped with a generous serving of whipped cream or maybe a cupcake tower? Seems like the recipe for Christmas punch card could come in really useful for a Christmas party!
Snowmen and Santa
Snowmen and Santa are such classic characters for so many Christmas card designs. Classic images of santa flying over rooftops you will find to choose from but here I decided to share Santa sleeping with his snowman friends. It’s tiring work delivering all those presents!
Santa and snowmen feature on their own card designs, some with friends and others solo. Don’t miss Santa hanging out his washing, driving the Christmas Train or relaxing in his Cut Thru’ Bothy.
People, Places & misc
Such a broad category so I chose to feature one of the London Town designs. Other London designs include a black and white card with a bright red telephone box. Red postboxes feature in a few more designs in the 2016 choices along with a classic post office design.
Buckingham Palace must get a mention as well as the Palace guard and the carol singers.
I would also like to mention here the A to Z of Christmas card which has so much detail in it that it makes a great conversation starter. Always love seeing how much care and effort Phoenix artists put in to their artwork.
The Twelve Days of Christmas looks so luxurious with gold foiling to add a really elegant touch to the design (additional charges may apply for some finishes). Noel and Peace are two perfect Christmas words for Christmas cards.
Merry Christmas and Happy Christmas are simple and classic Christmas card fronts. Try a red background with white snowflakes or white with red snowflakes for a bright and bold look.
My favourite is the A to Z of Christmas for something a little bit different and a whole lot of fun. Phoenix Trading artists put so much time and effort in to their designs, This one by Amanda Loverseed has so much detail in it. Hence, every time you look at it you will see something you missed the last time. Enlarge for a better look.
Can you tell I am a big fan of her greeting card designs?
The Phoenix Trading religious Christmas card designs are just glorious – hard to choose!
Angels feature strongly and the Little Angel as pictured is by far my favourite. What about nativity scenes with and without animals? That’s a big YES. Humour is evident with the Cut Thru’ Star Inn. The Three Magi (kings) also make regular appearances in the Christmas designs.
Baby Jesus is in a number of designs including two with cute animals and beautiful angels watching over his crib. The dark blue backgrounds mean these two designs look stunning framed. Indeed many of my customers will buy cards just to frame them!
Down Under (Australia & New Zealand)
Phoenix Trading also has many traders in Australia and New Zealand so a Down Under section is essential. Despite the opposite seasons I still find that my southern hemisphere customers like to send more traditional winter scene Christmas cards. Having migrated from the UK to NZ 15 years ago (spent three of those in Australia) I’m back now and not looking forward to the cold!
I may still be sending Christmas Fun in the Sun designs to my parents and brother though who are still in New Zealand!
Choose from Koalas playing cricket, having a Bar-B-Q or having a few too many seasonal refreshments!
Perhaps Santa surfing or Fun With Santa are more your style?
Helen Smith's Dictionaries & Fun With...
HINT: You will definitely need to use the enlarge AND zoom functions to read the details on the Helen Smith designs.
Would your business clients appreciate a humorous Christmas card design with amazing attention to details in the artwork? Helen Smith has been a Phoenix artist for many years and always has new designs each year in the brochures and product releases. The range is very, very popular with our customers.
Choose from the 8 designs featured: Fun With…Festive Food (pictured), Santa, Sprouts (yes really & I love sprouts!) Anagrams of Christmas Songs, Christmas Inven-tree, Round Robin, Festive Fun or Dictionary of Robins,

Why should you send Corporate Christmas Cards?
I think these two quotes say more than I could try and explain to you in a few short words.
“I always use Amanda Loverseed’s advent calendar cards because my clients really notice their ‘non-corporate’ nature and I get lots of positive feedback which results in more business.”
Bryan Warnett, St James Place Wealth Management
“We’ve been sending all our clients a Phoenix Christmas card for years. There’s a great range, they’re the highest quality, they’re not e-cards and they’re not bland ‘corporate’ cards – we always receive very positive comments as a result.”
Heather McLennan, TaxSavers.com
